Father and Son secure ‘Members Welcome Back’ Tournament at Abu Dhabi Golf Club
Father and son Daniel and Gerhard Siegel made sure victory stayed in the family after winning the Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s annual ‘Members Welcome Back’ tournament in September. Over 40 players took to the 9 hole flood lit Garden Course for a shot at the title which saw the Siegels secure the coveted win. With 22 points, the father and son partnership powered home to claim the count-back victory, not after the last 6 holes, nor the last 3 holes, but coming down to the very last hole!
In second place, with a brilliant score of 22 points, were Darren Bradshaw & Bob Lowe. There were two nearest the pin competitions, one for the ladies and one for the men. These were won by Debbie Betts and Joe Howell respectively.
