Evans wins Inaugural Arabian Ranches Golf Club Masters Tournament

Mark Evans posted an incredible 63 Net to win the Inaugural Arabian Ranches Golf Club Masters Tournament by six shots on Saturday, 12th April.

The Tournament was held in association with INFINITI and had 72 competitors battling for the trophy designed to resemble the traditional Green Jacket handed over to the winner of the first Major of the Year at Augusta National.

The best Individual Net Score on the day was crowned Masters Champion, however there was a special prize up for grabs when each competitor drew a name from all of the Golfers competing in the Augusta Masters and added their day two score to their Net score determining a team winner.
Mark Evans teamed up with Ian Woosnam who had a second round 73 at Augusta on day two combined with Marks 63 for a total of 136.

Evans was in great form on a very hot and windy day, most competitors struggled to break par with only 5 players on 71 or better. Evans posted three gross birdies with two of them on a par three giving him and outward half of 35 and an inward half of 37, gross 72 and a net 63. Mark’s nearest competitor was Michael McKee who posted a net 69 to take the runners up spot.
