Estafanous captures maiden win in BMW Monthly Medal at Dubai Creek

Mike Estafanous captured his maiden win in the Dubai Creek BMW monthly medal on Saturday 7th May.  The 15 handicapper played a superb round with 11 pars to card a gross 82, net 67 to win by a clear two shots.

Estafanous also claimed the division ‘B’ by a clear six shots from eventual runner up Sudhir Vora who shot a net 73.

In the men’s division ‘A’ Rakesh Shah returned to some fine form to card a gross 73, net 69 and claim the division’s spoils.   Patrick Morrow scored a superb net 70 that even included a quadruple bogey on the sixth hole to finish alone in second place.  The junior division witnessed Serifa D’Souza win by her better back nine with a solid net 71.  

The Captain’s raffle with two special prizes went to the lucky winner’s Mark McCarthy and capping off a great day, Mike Estafanous, medal champion for May.
