ERL Monthly Stableford results at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club

A full field of nearly 30 golfers took to the golf course on either the morning or afternoon shotguns at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club on Saturday 10th March.

Leading the way with a highly impressive score of 42 points was Rory Thomson, playing of a handicap of 17 Thomson secured 7 gross pars and 2 gross birdies within his 18 holes. Finishing 4 points behind Thomson returning with 38 points was Abdul Moiz Khan, who clinched the Division B title from S.W Kang. Tim Collins rose to the challenge in Division A beating of a number of very strong contenders to return a score of 34 points, a very steady round was only spoiled by back to back 6’s on the 14th and 15th holes at Sharjah.

Best gross went to Collins playing partner Paul Nightingale who finished with a score of 29 gross stableford points narrowly beating fellow members Roy Holmes and S.S Son. All four winners receive commemorative plaques plus vouchers to be spent in the pro shop.
