Emirates Golf Club require 1 and a half Points in their Final Fixture to Progress to Semi Finals of the UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League

Tomorrow sees Emirates Golf Club travel to Al Ain to play Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club in their final match of the first round robin series of matches of the 2011 – 2012 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League.

This penultimate fixture along with the final match of League A, to be played next week on Saturday 24th March (Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club v The Els Club, Dubai), will decide who will play Arabian Ranches Golf Club in the first semi-final of this season’s league. The other two semi-finalists  have already been confirmed with the match between Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai and Yas Links, Abu Dhabi.

Current league leaders Emirates Golf Club require at least a 2 ½ – 1 ½ loss to win their league with the Els Club currently on 8 ½ league points in second spot.
