Emirates Golf Club Ladies 2014 Season Opener

The Ladies season opener got of to an eventful start with the traditional opening ceremonial drive  to launch the  new season. Congratulations to 2014-15  Lady Captain Mitsuko Emmerson who hit a wonderful opening tee shot measuring 182 yards.
 
The event format  was a four person scramble contested on the Majlis course. The winning team was Carolyn Thompson, Maura Duggan, Jenny Isles and Fiona Berry with a fantastic score of 54.6.  Their combined score card included a very impressive 8 birdies and 3 eagles.

Runners up team included Lynne Dickinson, Martha Wong, Naima Maya and Elvira Smith with an excellent score of 56.2

Congratulations to Lady Golfer of the Year 2013-2014 Cathrine Clark for securing the gross winner award and also to Fiona Berry for capturing the best net award.

Lady Captains putting challenge was won by Fiona Berry and Chris Dyball.
