EGF Junior National Team Still in the Hunt for the Dubai Schools League

Four Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) Junior National Team members took the course at The Track Meydan Golf Club in the third event of the Dubai Schools League.

This was the third of four 9-hole events, which will take place this season. With a team Stableford score of 53 the EGF Junior National Team remains in the middle of the pack and still in the hunt for a strong finish.

Leading the team on February 3rd with a Stableford score of 17 was Ahmed Al Budoor (Dubai, UAE). Al Budoor plays with an impressive 9 handicap. Al Budoor collected 3 pars and 6 bogies, all in Gross score.

Mahmood Skaik (Dubai, UAE) shot a Stableford score of 13. Skaik plays with a handicap of 28.
With a Stableford score of 12 was Junior Presidents Cup winner Tara Al Marzouqui (Abu Dhabi, UAE). After starting strong with four straight bogeys Al Marzouqui could not capitalize on the last five holes. With a 23 handicap Tara will look to finish strong in the final event.
Rounding off the team with a 28 handicap and an event Stableford score of 11 was Mohamed Abdulla Saeef (Dubai, UAE).

The last event of the Dubai Schools League will take place in March. Being tied for 6th place in the current standings the EGF Junior National Team is in a good position to move up the standings. With strong schools in the field this will be a great challenge for the young EGF team.
