Adhip Shankar and Suresh Shewakramani take BMW Pairs Open Social: The season’s first edition of the BMW Series Open social was hosted on the 5th November 2018. Competitors had to concur a Shambles better ball format for the front nine and a Texas Scramble format for the back nine.
Taking home the glory on the day was the pairing of Adhip Shankar and Suresh Shewakramani as they joined forces to post an impressive total of 65. The pair dovetailed exceptionally well, for the Shambles Betterball format they collaborated well to record a 9 hole score of 33. A score which they bettered in the Texas Scramble on the back nine as they combined to record 3 net Birdies & a Net Eagle. With only one dropped shot their back nine total was 32, giving them an overall score of 65 & the day’s victory.
Other winners on the day were Vivian Verma and Ravi A.E who posted a fantastic Shambles Betterball of 31 in what can be at times a tricky format, this score was enough to take home the Front 9 prize. Martin Duff and Adam Smith claimed the title of the best back 9 with a neat and tidy 34 no dropped shots and 2 birdies were enough to win the Texas scramble format.
