Dyball, Logan, Breen and Gupta triumph in the Pink Ball Competition at Emirates Golf Club

Chris Dyball, Lorraine Logan, Margaret Breen and Jayshree Gupta combined nicely around the Majlis course to win the Ladies Pink Ball Competition with 100 points. The day was all about raising money for Breast Cancer Arabia, with many golf and raffle prizes kindly donated for the day. The total figure raised so far is over AED 50,000 and still counting.

There were many on course special events, including an option to take the drive from our new Golf professional Bryan Smythe on hole 9 and an option to take the par 3 tee shot of Membership Manager Kate Philips on hole 11.

The Lady Captain, Glynis Hendry would like to thank all the sponsors, including CBI Bank, for the trophy and donation, Harvey Nichols who donated Clarins spa vouchers to each participant and Mercedes who provided a breast cancer Arabia pink branded Mercedes 4×4.

Other prizes and donations were made by MMI, Prosports and our very own Golf academy and the recreation team for donating their time and gift vouchers.

All of this would not be possible without the support and help of all the members who played in the event and bought and sold many raffle tickets, and of course Emirates Golf Club for donating vouchers and the tournament fee.
