Dupree Adams Cornish and Silverton toast field in Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club Social

Augusts SGSC BMW Members and Guest Social resulted in victories for member Mark Dupree (12) and Adrian Adams (13). The opening 9’s format was 2 man Texas Scramble with Adams returning to his old stomping ground to record another fine victory with a net 32.75.

In the second 9, a Betterball Medal format, summer members Phil Cornish (18) and Mark Silverton (16) prevailed after posting an unprecedented net 32.
Novelty prizes were collected by Mukti Rai, John Wilson and Mark Silverton who added nearest the pin to his main prize.

At the presentation Director of Golf Martin Duff thanked the 48 golfers who participated that morning despite the considerable heat and humidity.
