Dukhan Golf Course Qatar is stituated within the Oil working community of Dukhan.
The Golf Course consists of "oil greens" The fairways are sand and you had to carry a piece of astro-turf to take your shots from tee to fairway to Brown.
The Dukhan Golf Club (DGC) is an 18-hole, 7,050 yards, 72 par, golf course. This golf course is the oldest in Qatar (about 54 years old). Located inside the Dukhan Township, is a mixture of sand and oil, initially it was set as a 9-hole and later expanded to 18-hole course, in 1997.
Aside from its course and practice range, the club offers its other facilities such as the clubhouse, lounge area, change rooms, kitchen, barbeque area and children’s playground. Throughout the year, the DGC clubhouse is always considered as venue for different club events and private functions to serve its multi diverse cultured members and the Dukhan community as a whole. The clubhouse opens its doors from 6 am until 10pm. Membership is currently open to Senior Staff employees. Currently it has 137 members.
