Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club beat The Els Club after the first leg of 2014 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League final
Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club beat The Els Club 4 – 0 in the first leg of the two leg final of the 2013 – 2014 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League held at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.
The victory makes Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club the outstanding favourites to clinch the league crown with the second leg of the final to be held at The Els Club with tee times 7.20 am – 7.50 am on Saturday 31st May 2014.
Bob Driver, League co-ordinator said after the results collation, ‘We must applaud the performance of Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club in the first leg. To win all four matches is a strong performance against The Els Club. Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club only need one half of a point to clinch the season long title that began back in November 2013 when 14 teams began the 6 month journey.’
