Dubai Creek Carpetland Monthly Open February 2011

Husband and wife duo David and Isle Inglis won the Carpetland Monthly Open held at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on Saturday 26th February.

The duo carded 44 better ball stableford points to win by a single point to claim the spoils.
 
Runners up were Mark McCarthy and Sunil Shreedharan with 43 points and claiming the last spot for the finals in third place were Warren and Vanessa North Panting with 42 points by virtue of their amazing back nine of 24 points.

Ashok Sindhu won nearest the pin on the 16th hole with a great iron to several feet.  Sandra Grenet won the longest drive for the day on the 7th hole.  The lucky and very surprised raffle winner of the sought after Carpetland Rug was Vikram Motwani.  The charity rug raffle that rose over DHS 2000 towards charity was won by Steve Freed.

Next month’s Carpetland Monthly Open is set for Saturday 12th March for a 13.00 shotgun start with now only two more chances to qualify for the grand final in May.
