Double Open Delight for Nair at Al Hamra Golf Club

Rajeev Nair returned to Al Hamra following his success in the Ramadan Open to post another brilliant round of 42 Stableford points to win the Individual Stableford Summer Open.

Nair took full advantage of the perfect scoring conditions out on the course to post an outward nine of 22 points with 3 net birdies and 2 net eagles on his card.

Nair kept a level head on the back nine following a shaky start at the 10th hole where he recorded zero points to return in a further 20 points. Al Hamra member Rick Handsel, playing in the same group as Nair was in close pursuit of the eventually champion all the way around the course but fell just 1 point short with a final tally of 41 Stableford points. The third place spoils were taken by Abizar Mohamed as his inward nine of 21 points gave him the upper hand over Burham Mohamed in a countback on 39 Stableford points.
