Dewald demolishes first Monthly Medal at Al Hamra Golf Club

Dewald Lubbe demolished the rest of the field in the first Monthly Medal of the new season which took place on Friday 12th October. This was the first qualifier for both Al Hamra’s Order of Merits and Eclectic competitions in which Dewald posted a stunning gross 73 to finish with a 7 shot winning margin from second place prize winner Simon Williams who carded 80. Dewald scored nine’s of 36 and 37 which included two’s on holes 4 and 11 and form his best competition round to date.

The winner of the Net Division Ma Li Min also put together a superb round of 69 to get her season of to the perfect start and continue her fine form from last season. The 2011/2012 most improved golfer put together nine’s of 33 and 39 to finish with a 2 shot winning margin.

Runner-up prize in the net Divison was picked up by recent new member Oscar Lindh after posting a promising opening 71 to his campaign.
