Dearie Impressive Finish in the Stableford Competition at Al Badia Golf Club

On the 16th September Al Badia Golf Club held their Monthly Stableford competition.  The overall winner on the day was Alan Dearie with an impressive 39 points. Alan had a consistent round with few mistakes and managed to finish level on the tough par 3’s including a birdie on the 11th. He also managed to attain 22 points on the back 9 including 4 points on 2 holes.

Division A winner was Colin Gow with 37 points, who had a steady front 9 of 16 points but came alive on the back with 21 points including 5 pars and 1 birdie. The runner up of this division was Chet Riley with 36 points. Chet had a steady round with 18 points front and back. Chet also won the longest drive on the 13th hole.

Division B was won by Nick Groves with 38 points. Nick had 38 points including 9 pars including a par on the tough 13th hole. The runner up in division B was Katrin Wilke who had 37 points to take the runner-up position on count back. Katrin’s round also contained 4 points on 4 holes.

Nearest the pin for the men on the 7th was won by Randy Baldridge. Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive for the ladies were both won by Lynn Cimino.
