Davies shines in the Dark at Dubai Creek Members Night Golf Evening
On Wednesday 23rd at 7pm the Dubai Creek course was set up with nine holes laid out with glow sticks to mark the fairways and greens, flashing pin flags and a glowing hole to help the players find the bottom of the cup with their glow in the dark golf balls.
40 members took part and all had great fun trying something a little different from the normal game for the very first time. The evening was supported by EPL FZco and Chivas Brothers.
Chris Davis shined in the dark and claimed Dubai Creek’s first ever night golf evening with 16 points by virtue of the better last six holes from a three way tie at the top. Adhip Shanker finished runner up by one point over the last six holes from Rakesh Shah.
The Captain’s raffle witnessed special prizes donated by Samsung and Prosports and the lucky winners were Vikrant Mehra, K.P Sahadavan and Rakesh Shah.
