Chris Cook wins september Yas Links Etihad Open Stableford
On Friday 14th September Yas Links held their Monthly Etihad Open Stableford and this is a hugely popular event and is a definite must on the golfing calendar. Prizes for this event are in the form of Etihad Guest Air Miles and are divided into two categories, Category A (0-18 Handicaps) and Category B (19-36). 1st prize in each category picks up 25, 000 Etihad Guest Air Miles, 2nd Place wins 15, 000 Etihad Guest Air Miles and 3rd Place receives 10,000 Etihad Guest Air Miles.
The high temperatures certainly didn’t affect the scoring. The winner of Category A with a very impressive 40 points was Chris Cook. Keeping it a family affair 2nd place was won by Walter Hall with 39 Points and 3rd Place was Darren Hall with 38 Points. In Category B, the winner with an almighty 43 points was Lora Al Marzooqi. In 2nd place with 39 points was Sidong Tian and in 3rd place with 37 points was Stephen Paul Burnell. Congratulations to you all!
