Centro Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club Medal goes to Ahmed

Parvez Ahmed shot back into the limelight recently by winning the Centro Sharjah Midweek Medal played over 9 holes at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. A sublime score of net 30 was more than enough to see him crowned the winner of the bi-monthly event. Finishing just the one shot adrift was recent winner Aamir Inam, who turned on the style again managing to complete 9 holes without scoring a gross 6, a net 31 wasn’t quite good enough to compete with Ahmad but he however walked away with the division A prize. There was hard luck for Abdul Moiz Khan and Gary Langthorne who with a net 32 finished just one shot shy on contending for the prizes.

The division B prize for the event went to new golfer Anita Deforce, she was delighted to pick up her first ever prize in just less than 10 starts in competitive events. Her score of net 33 was 2 shots clear of her nearest divisional rival.

All three winning golfers received pro shop vouchers plus luxury vouchers to be used at the Centro Sharjah resort with the winner Parvez Ahmad scooping a weekend night stay for 2 guests.
