Cathrine Clark wins the Ladies Club Championship at Emirates Golf Club

Held over two rounds, round 1 on the Faldo, and the final round on the Majlis course and attracting a keen 45 players it was Cathrine Clark that came out on top with a fabulous two round gross total of 165 (86&79). Her final round scorecard included a great birdie, par, birdie, par finish to give her a 4 shot victory.

The runner up spot went to Najla Bartette with a two round gross total of 169 (83&86). In third place it was the ever consistent Rosemary Turlik with 170 (85&85) who took the honours.

The Best net prize over the 36 holes was divided into divisions. The winner of the silver (0-20hcp) division was Veronica Elias with a net total of 146 (64&79) and the Bronze division was secured by Gillian Black with net total of 147 (76&71)

The day prizes were split into best net and best gross. On day 1 it was Amarjeet Radia who took the best gross prize with 87. Sanchia Oberholster took the net honours with a 71. On day 2 Mitsuko Emmerson took the gross prize with 81 and Jenney Ayres won the net prize with a 70.

As in previous years a prize is given to the player who makes the most improvement over the two days. This year it was Sandra Chia who improved her score by 22 shots.
