Catherine Clark Triumphs in Ladies Heritage Trophy at Emirates Golf Club

The Faldo and Majlis courses in the Emirates golf club hosted yet again The Heritage Trophy, one of the years most anticipated tournaments for the Ladies, and held two rounds of competitive excitement. The first round on the Faldo hosted 42 ladies and the second round on the Majlis hosted 52, all competing for the chance to win the framed coffee pot trophies.

Catherine Clark took first place with fantastic scoring on the first round and a stable finish for the win. Catherine attained an excellent 42 Stableford Points in round one on the challenging Faldo with five net birdies; she then scored a great 38 stableford points on the Majlis cementing her win.

Ashley Anderson follows closely in suit with a fantastic score of 35 stableford points in round one on the Faldo Course and then scooping a phenomenal 42 stableford point in round two on the Majlis course thus getting Second Place. Ashley finished strong with four net birdies and two net eagles.

Mimi Hosking takes third place with a steady and strong pace throughout both rounds. She scores an impressive 39 stableford points in round 1 on the Faldo and follows it up with a 37 stableford points in round 2 on the Majlis.

The best Round 1 score went to Mieke Slotboom for the fantastic score of 41 stableford points and Best Round 2 was taken by Sylvia Weber with a great 39 stableford points.

The ladies then retired to Le classique for the prize giving and an excellent lunch.
