Carstanjen takes Rayhaan Rotana Ladies Strokeplay Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

The “April Rotana Ladies Strokeplay” recently took place at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

With a field of over 20 players including 4 out of the top 5 “Rotana order of merit” leaders, it was always going to be a closely fought battle.

Taking top honours on the day was Annette Carstanjen with a net 72 beating Nadia Matveeva on a better back 9. In 3rd place was Chikako Inoue 1 shot back on net 73.
After their play Dubai Creek Professional, Craig Waddell, presented Annette with the April Strokeplay trophy and also her winning prize of a spa trip to “Zen Spa” at Rayhaan Rotana.

“I’m very happy as I played extremely steady today. I played the par 3’s well and even managed a birdie on the tough 17th. I have to say a big thanks to my new coach as well-my 6 year old son Jonah!! He passed on some of his tips the other day and it seems to have paid off already!!”

As ever the ladies were treated to various on course prizes supplied by ‘Rayhaan Rotana Zen Spa” with winners including Daniela Sacchini, H.H Choi, and the new strokeplay champion Annette Carstanjen. Best gross on the day also went to Mrs H.H Choi who scored a fantastic 89.

This win catapults Annette into 2nd place in the Rotana Order Of Merit league, trailing the ever consistent  Harrini White by a mere 62 points.
