Captain Eli Mashmoor takes 2nd qualifying round of BMW Skills Challenge hosted by the European Tour Performance Institute
Saturday 17th May saw the second qualifying round of the BMW Skills Challenge hosted by the European Tour Performance Institute at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
This round was closely contested with only 13 points separating all the teams. Players were challenged on their putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers and driving skills.
The winning team scoring especially consistently in both putting and bunkers, led by team captain Eli Mashmoor, were able to secure an excellent winning performance.
Their winning score of 127.6, a winning margin of 7 points, has earned them BMW Driving experiences and they advance to the semi- Finals next October.
Mashmoor stated “it was great to take part, a team effort and a really fun day”.
The next BMW Skills Challenge round will be held on Thursday 22nd at 4:00pm The event is open to all UAE amateur golfers and entry fee is just AED 500 per team of four.
