Campbell and Heywood win the Yas Links International Pairs UAE Qualifying Round

Yas Links is delighted to be included in the Daman Investments International Pairs Qualifying Series. On Saturday October 18th, enrolled Yas Links members competed to be the final pair selected to play in the UAE Grand Final with hopes to eventually compete in the World Grand Final. All of the days winners 1st, 2nd, 3rd plus on course competition winners also were presented with prizes provided courtesy of the days generous sponsors.
 
Not surprisingly, the tournament proved to be a very close competition. Though, no strangers to the leader board Elizabeth Campbell and Ian Haywood took swept top spot and were the days winners with an incredible 40 points. Elizabeth and Ian will compete against all the other UAE club winners on May 29th 2015 at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.  A close second place was presented to Roman Hawczak and Mike Pugliese who finished with a fantastic 39 points. Third place was taken on count back by Gareth Dennison and Ricus Lehmkuhl with their finished score of 37 points.
