Burkhardt banks August Members medal at Abu Dhabi Golf Club

The August edition of the members’ medal competition produced some superb scoring, with 20 players taking on the famous National course at Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Laurie Burkhardt’s exceptional round of 74 was the lowest gross score of the day, which was enough for him to claim first place along with a selection of Abu Dhabi Golf Club prizes.
 
In the Men’s 0-14 Course Handicap competition, JV Delos Santos edged out Paul Spinks after carding a round of 72. Whilst in the Men’s 15+ Course Handicap contest, David Crabbe’s score of 73 was enough to secure first place ahead of Kamal Belaid, who took second place with a notable round of 76. Tom Woods took the men’s nearest the pin.
 
Lina Tyson completed a clean sweep in the ladies competitions after posting an exceptional score of 73 and winning the nearest the pin.
