BMW Rivoli October Medal Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club

The BMW-RIVOLI October Medal at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club proved to be another great success with a strong field of more than 70 players taking part. It was Dubai Creek Golf Club member Nawaf Fawaz who started his season strongly with a fantastic score of net 68 to win the overall BMW-RIVOLI prize.  After being presented with his award, Fawaz commented; “The golf course was in good shape, especially the greens which were absolutely perfect. The staff did an excellent job and therefore no pressure was felt while playing the game. I did my job as well and I’m very happy to have won the tournament. I would like to thank the management and the sponsors for organizing the tournament and I look forward to future events”. 

Regular performer John Fellingham put in another great performance with a birdie on the 18th to finish his round of 1-under par 70, net 69 to win Men’s division A. Runner-up Ishwar Jodha was just one shot back with a solid score of net 70.  Division B winner Haridas Kondath shot a solid net 69 and secured top spot over Abdul Meeran who finished 2 shots back with a level par net 71.  

 

Vanessa North was back to winning ways, taking the Ladies Division title with a level par net 71 and young Adam Savage stormed the junior division with a fantastic net 68.  Tejan Fadlu-Deen took the overall gross prize with a very respectable 75. The lucky raffle winners on the day were Mohammed Al Musharrekh and James Russell, while Mark Jolliffe, Craig McBride, Warren Panting and Khalil Jamal all prevailed in the 2’s club.
