BMW Monthly Medal at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
Naema Maya won the Dubai Creek BMW monthly medal and ladies division on Saturday 5th March in a very cold and windy day for the time of year.
Maya battled the indifferent elements to come out on top by a single shot with ten gross pars totaling a gross 81, net 70 playing off her eleven course handicap.
In the men’s division A, Bill Wong fired a net 71 to take the spoils ahead of the very consistent Alok Pant who finished one shot behind on net 72. In division B, Abdul Aziz Al Hakim claimed the win with a net 73, two shots ahead from runner up Sunil Shreedharan.
The lowest gross score on the day was an eight over par gross 79 by Charlie Stephenson by virtue of his better last three holes from Paul Saad.
The Titlesit Order of Merit raffle witnessed Joy Lirio and Balvinder Singh take home a dozen NXT Golf balls. The Captain’s raffle with two special prizes donated by K.J Singh went to the lucky winners Neil Taylor and Naresh Handa.
