Blanchards Team on a High at fridays Al Ghazal Golf Club hit n giggle

The AGGC’s Fridays Hit N Giggle competition sponsored by Toni Briegel & Nickolas Stevenson was fully subscribed with 36 competitors. The Texas scramble teams of four all played well under par, and it was nip and tuck to find the best team at the end of the day.

Best score of the day with a total nett 22 was carded by the team of Bernie Blanchard, Lady Captain Deborah Castle, Anette Rego and Mike Latham whose combined handicap was 7.

Second placed were Captain Peter McManus, Keith Sargeant, Sue and Will Murray on 22.7, with third place going to Rob Jennings, Heba, Hossam and Ken Ritzal with a 23.3 on count back from Steve Coulson, Kate Davies, Alan Knight and Ed Salazar. The DDH trophy went to Allen Ridley, John Leyland and Barbara Watkins – only because they were one man short but still scores under par!

The Subsidiary prizes were won by Keith Sargeant and Juma Mussa for nearest the pin and straightest drive. Finally the WAD Trophy was presented to Deborah Castle and Keith Sargeant for being in the winner’s circle too many times!
