Birdie Tree Raises Cash for Dreamflight at Royal Golf Club

The Royal Golf Club’s ladies section officially opened their birdie tree at the conclusion of the recent Dreamflight Charity Golf Tournament, raising further money for the charity in the process.

Club member Olive Wagstaff was the only lady to achieve a birdie on the day and was presented with a prize by Lady Captain Dena Wales. There was an additional prize draw for all other players who did not manage a birdie and therefore had to pay a BD1 fine to the Dreamflight cause. Prizes were sponsored by the Gulf Hotel and the Royal Golf Club.
