Belaid shows his class in Saadiyat Beach Golf Club MOvember fundraiser

Saadiyat Beach Golf Club welcomed 19 players for their annual MOvember Event, with all proceeds going towards the MOvember charity for prostate and testicular cancer.

The Monte Carlo Beach Club-sponsored event comprised of a Men’s and Ladies competition, as well as a number of on course events and a ‘Beat the pro’ competition, where participants got the chance take on Saadiyat Beach Golf Club professional, PJ Van Merch.
The Men’s competition saw Bilal Belaid claim victory with a score of 37 points, whilst Michelle Larter’s score of 38 points was enough for her to take the crown in the ladies contest.
In the first of the day’s on course events, Bilal Belaid again proved his class, winning the men’s longest drive competition before going on to ‘Beat the pro’ with a hole-in-one. Only Thomas Wood’s effort in the ‘Nearest the pin’ competition could eventually bring Belaid’s winning streak to an end.
In the ladies on course events, Lina Tyson showed her strength, taking the longest drive competition whilst Alberta Lagorio won the ‘Nearest the pin’ contest.
The event successfully raised AED 1865 for the MOvember.com charity.
