Bartette and Wong Triumph in Nexus Open Stableford Tournament at Emirates Golf Club
The trio of Najla Bartette & Martha Wong held off fierce competition by winning the Nexus Open Stableford tournament.
The popular club tournament held on the Majlis Course was a stableford event with outstanding scores produced in the afternoon heat. Bartette and Wong produced a very impressive 46 points to take 1st place, with Patrick Mulligan and Gurmukh Ghuldu finishing in 2nd place with a very commendable 44 points. Mulligan & Ghuldu managed to secure the 2nd place prize by beating Nicklaus Evangelopoulos and Haris Michaelidies with a better back nine.
Other prize winners include Naema Maya for nearest the pin on hole number 11, Brain Edwards on Hole no 4, Longest drive awards went to Rekha Bandopadhay on hole number 8, with the gents on hole number 16 by Naveed Kamal. Congratulations to all of the prize winners on some fantastic scoring.
