Barry, Thompson, Hatton, Granger triumph in Emirates Golf Club Ladies Waltz 1-2-3 Competition

Jaqui Barry, Carolyn Thompson, Ruth Hatton and Caroline Granger put together a fine 109 points over the fabulous Faldo course.

This was 7 points more than the runner up team of Rosemary Turlik, Lorraine main, Chris Hutchinson and Jane Jones who had a fine 102 points in this twist (or should that say Waltz) on the better ball stableford format.

As the event took place on Halloween, a themed nearest the pumpkin on hole 5 was won by Jeanette Taylor and nearest the Witch on hole 16 was won by Annette Stewart,. Both players won some lovely Halloween themed cupcakes that had been made by Stephanie Wilson.
