Arabian Ranches Progress to Semi Finals of the UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League
Sharjah Wanderers / Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club beat Tower links / Al Hamra Golf Club, Ras al Khaimah by 3 – 1 in the final round robin match in League B which takes Arabian Ranches Golf Club as league winners through to the semi-finals.
The joint Sharjah team needed a maximum 4 – 0 result to guarantee their passage through to the semis.
In League A Emirates Golf Club beat Al Ain Shooting, Equestrian and Golf Club by the same 3 – 1 margin to remain on track for the semi-finals.
In a dead rubber in League C Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai beat The Address Montgomerie, Dubai – Al Badia already having earned their semi-final status.
Leagues B, C and D are now finalised with Arabian Ranches Golf Club playing the winners of League A and Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai (League C winners) taking on Yas Links, Abu Dhabi (League D winners) in the other semi-final.
