Andrew Smolak and Samantha Allen win Yas Links Mixed Open

On October 11th 2014 held the Yas Links Mixed Open with a Betterball Stableford format. The Open presents a great opportunity for members and guests alike to compete on the greens; changing the typical competition dynamic. Two person teams consisting of one male and one female coupled together for the 8:00am shotgun start. Afterwards all joined together in Hickory’s for a delicious lunch buffet and prize presentation to see who made the leaderboard.

Guests to Yas Links, Andrew Smolak and Samantha Allen swept the competition taking top spot finishing with 43 points. This allowed them to win bragging rights and incredible prizes provided by Yas Island Rotana and Yas Links. Just like the in the previous Mixed Open, second place was again presented to Yas Links members and husband and wife duo, Andrea & Mark Hartley. The two finished with a solid 41 points.
