America and Australasia team are ready for the NMT Battle of the Continents

The 4th NMT Battle of the Continents qualifier for the America’s and Australasia Team was completed at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club on Friday 13th of November.

America’s & Australasia captain Pat Green cast a studious eye over his representatives as they battled to form his 8 man team around Sharjah Golf & Shooting Clubs championship golf course.
 
On a perfect day for scoring and with the course in excellent condition the field competed for 3 gross and 5 net slots, along with their Captain. The team would be completed at the end of the round of 9 players to represent their continent. There was plenty of hot golf from the groups with SGSC Golf Course Superintendent Marty Brown posting 39 points, Jonathan Huntley shooting five over gross and Raymi Van Der Spek carding 36 points to name a few.

At the presentation America’s and Australasia Captain Patrick Green thanked sponsors NMT Global Projects for their investment into an established, unique and truly exciting event.  He thanked Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club and Director of Golf Martin Duff for running the event, inviting him to be Captain and presenting the course in such outstanding condition.  Finally Green reaped appreciation for all competitors who’d supported the America’s  and Australasia cause stating he was quietly confident his 9 man team would give the other 3 continents a very good match come Saturday 23rd of January .
