America and Asia Team win the Yas Links Phillips Cup

Recently Yas Links hosted an important and staple tournament, The Phillips Cup, named after American Yas Links architect and course designer Kyle Phillips.

Continued from the theme of last year, teams were divided based on members nationality, America and Asia vs. The Rest of the World. Reigning Champions from last year American and Asia were determined to maintain their winning title and keep the Yas Links architect proud.

With a tight finish, America and Asia did keep their winning rank with an impressive 8 ½ points while The rest of the world followed close behind with 6 ½ points.

After the tournament, members and their guests enjoyed a prize presentation with dinner, music and dancing on the Yas Links Events Lawn to celebrate Kyle Phillips and the fun had in the day’s tournament. Members have another year to practice and compete for the next Phillips Cup, held with pleasure at Yas Links Abu Dhabi.
