Alan weathers the storm as Dickman is ahead of the pack at Al Ghazal Golf Club
Last Friday at the Al Ghazal Golf Club the third of the Ballentine’s Stableford Eclectic competitions was held, despite strong blustery winds, everyone completed their rounds, not so in the Qatar Masters where they had to cancel the days play due to 45 mph winds!
Best score of the day and Men’s Division first place went to a credible score of 34 points from Alan Dickman, second place on was Bernie Blanchard with 32 points and third was Jaco Breytenbach with 31 points.
Ladies Division was won by Anette Rego with 32 points and runner up with 30 points and 2’s Club winner was Anina Bester.
The AGGC Stableford Eclectic running competition sponsored by Ballentine’s and Gray Mackenzie is being played throughout the 2011/12 golfing season. Competitors hope to improve their hole by hole scores each time they play in the running event. At the end of the season the player with the most overall points / best score will be crowned the Ballentine’s Stableford Eclectic 2012 Ladies and Men’s Champions.
Captain Peter McManus announced the winners and Lady Captain Deborah Castle distributed the prizes on behalf of Ballentine’s.
