Al Mazrui wins Yas Links Etihad Open Stableford

The afternoon’s competition was full to the brim with members and guests all wanting to compete for air miles and bragging rights at Yas Links Etihad Open Stableford.

The diversified tournament started with a bit of a welcomed breeze while golfers were eager to start; scores were scarcely between,  but Ahmed Al Mazrui prevailed and took the courtesy of a better last 9 holes with a score of 39 points. A very close second goes to Jonathan Craig also with 39 points, while with only a point away arose Gary Rawlings with 38 points.

Stephen Paul Burnell overcame his fellow Division B players with a very impressive score of 35 points.  2nd place was taken by Chris Archibald, again on the last 9 holes where he scored 33 points while Tiina Vuorenmaa takes 3rd place with a 33 as well.

We hope to see the final Etihad Open Stableford competition as popular of a turn out at todays which is being held at Yas Links April 12th 2013
