Al Ghazal March Monthly medal Result
Emily Gordon continued her impressive purple patch, after her impressive sub 60 Medal score in February she continued her form by winning the March medal with a 75, beating Angela Scurr and Ming Brown on count back.
Once again A Division’s Mark Hayman pulled out all the stops and considering he had three, three putts he still equalled the best overall score of the day with a 72, second place went the ever popular Bernie Blanchard on 76.
B Division’s Joe D’Souza equalled Marks score to win by 5 shots from Rob Brown. C Division was won with a 77 by Abdul Rahman Al Laggitti 71 by two shots from Mohamed Mounib. Again the weather was fresh and very breezy but Anina Bester and Clyde Rhodes [A Division] managed impressive 2’s for their respective divisions. In fact Anina almost scored the perfect score ‘An ACE’, when her tee shot on the 6th ran over the hole!
The International Paints Golfer of the Year – Mark Hayman has regained his top position and leads by 17.5 points from Ramesh Emmanuel and 15 ahead of Chris de Beaufort. The Ladies Golfer of the Year has Ming Brown is still ahead by 10 points from Anina Bester 56 and Lizette Breytenbach on 44.
