Al Ghazal Golf Club September Monthly medal

Despite the 99% humidity and 7am shotgun start the September AGGC Monthly medal golfers proved that they are the stalwarts of Sand golf in the U.A.E.  Not a very nice day, but that is September for you!

Marc Peterson carded a gross 79 nett 66 to prove that conditions don’t count!  At the half way mark with a front 9 gross score of 40 he was 2 shots behind leader Phil Wilkes [gross 38], but his superb comeback gross 39 on the back proved too much for the rest of the field.  Second place went to S.J. Lim with a nett 69 piping Phil on count back with a better nett back 9.

The Medal 2’s Club was won by Division B player Nicholas Stevenson and Division C Didier Levasseur.

Al Ghazal Golf Club Lady Captain Pauline Jeynes distributed the prizes to the well deserving winners.
