Al Badia Golf Club Al Manzar Scramble results

Al Badia Golf Club hosted the Al Manzar Scramble on Friday for what was a fun filled event for members and guests with some fantastic team scores with some tough competition in the field.

Taking top honours with an impressive net 56.8 narrowly ousting the runners up by a mere .1 was the team of Jacqueline O’Connor, Kieran O’Connor, Keith Nann and Dan Hill.  Their phenomenal team effort was apparent racking up nine birides and nine pars.  
In a very close second place with a net 56.9 was the team of Martha Bimmel, Andrew Goode, Thomas Leach and Michael Conneely who had an inspiring start to their round with an eagle on the par 5 8th hole.  They continued their momentum to finish with six birdies and eleven pars.   In the bronze position was the team of Vice Club Captain Richard Kim, Young Hun Park, Steve Song and Kelly Hanwell with a net 59.6.  They managed to convert six birdies with the remaining holes consistent pars.    
The on course prizes went to Gordon Adam for his longest drive on hole 4 and Mark Adams for nearest to the pin on hole 11.  For the ladies on course events Carol Baldwin took the prize for longest drive on hole 18 and Jacqueline O’Connor won nearest the pin on hole 7.
