Al Ain Shooting, Equestrian and Golf Club beat Emirates Golf Club in penultimate League A match of the 2011 – 2012 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League.

The home team of Al Ain Shooting, Equestrian and Golf Club beat Emirates Golf Club (EGC) by 3 – 1 in the penultimate League A fixture leaving EGC top of their league with just one final game of the round robin matches remaining – Al Ain hosting The Els Club on Saturday 24th March.

A 4 – 0 win to the away team will ensure a tie at the top of League A.
The other 3 Leagues have already been decided with Arabian Ranches Golf Club winning League B, Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai winning League C and Yas Links, Abu Dhabi winning League D.
The four winners of the leagues progress to the semi-final knock-out rounds of this season’s league with League A winners playing League B winners and the second semi-final sees League C winners playing League D winners – both at neutral venues.
