AGGC February Monthly medal Emily wins on sub 60 score
Emily Gordon joined the sub 60 gang, with an amazing score of 58 in the AGGC’s February Monthly Medal. Emily took first prize in the Ladies section and received a considerable handicap cut for the privilege, from second placed Lizette Breytenbach on 67 9 shots adrift of Emily!
B Division’s Kevin Darrock scored the best men’s score of the day with a 66 winning from second placed Eddie Brown on 74. A Division was once again dominated by Rene Valencia with a 68 from second placed Martin Sutherland on count back from Mark Hayman.
C Division was won by Xavier Carrie on 71 from Adda Haouara on 78. Despite continued breezy conditions were three 2’s Clubs by Mark Hayman, Phil Wilkes and Nicholas Stevenson.

The International Paints Golfer of the Year point standings are now hotting up with only 4 more events to go, last year’s winner Mark Hayman whose continuing consistent play has once again put him in lead on 49 points six ahead of nearest rival Ramesh Emmanuel and 8 ahead of Rene Valencia. The Ladies Golfer of the Year has Ming Brown romping ahead on 54 points from Lizette Breytenbach 44 and Anina Bester 42.
