After all the media hype could it be Justin Rose that blooms?

Justin Rose ready for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship

Justin Rose is ready, but are we all set for a dramatic last day at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship?

The eagerly awaited 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship (ADHGC) got underway at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club earlier this week promising a giant spectacular and it has delivered a mixed bag so far.

The event keeps on pulling out all the stops and this year was no exception. Earlier in the week, It was a 3 part show. Unfortunately, Justin Rose who was involved in the pre-event publicity press shoot along with Rory and Tiger was not one of the three! Rory, Tiger, and Nike took center stage on the first day of press conferences. There were quite a few questions asked to the now Nike pair individually on each other’s relationships and the mega Nike deal that Rory has just signed.

During the first 2 press days, we had the pre-press conferences and I was lucky I never injured Tiger. I literally walked right into him in the hallway as he came into the press conference building. Now that would have been some great PR for UAE Golf Online ;-)

As the last few days have proved, anything can happen and it certainly did with the Tiger penalty situation where he missed the cut by one shot. You could not have even imagined that happening, but even this could be good PR.

After the initial frenzy of the Tiger, Rory and Nike show, which fizzled away after they both didn’t make the cut yesterday. The Final day is upon us tomorrow.

Of course, it is a shame for the tournament, the sponsors, TV etc but let’s not let that detract from what is still a great event. The weather has come back, the crowds have turned up again and last but no means least we should also not be that unhappy with the Golf. The world number 4 Justin Rose is currently on top doing his ‘bit’ and playing some solid Golf in the process.

Personally, I would like to see Rose close this out tomorrow. He’s looked, sounded and played in a professional manner all week. After paying close attention to the way he handles himself, I am very impressed. I am fully behind him to lift the Falcon trophy.

Come on Justin, this could be a good year!
