Africa and Middle East team all set for Battle of the Continents grand final

The African and Middle Eastern team is all set for the Battle of the Continents Grand Final on Friday 16th January 2015 after their recent qualifier at Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club. With only 8 spots up for grabs to make the team there was a strong turnout in an attempt to qualify for a superb and competitive January date.

After surprising the other continents in last year’s inaugural Battle of the Continents Grand Final where Team Africa & Middle East were just piped to the title by a strong Asian team they are keen to try and go one better and pick up the trophy for the first time come January 16th 2015.

Team Captain Hanief Sallie was in high spirits after the 8 qualifiers were announced with quality in both the gross and net divisions of his team, with himself looking for a positive performance as he faces the other three Captains.

With two of the four continents having had their respective qualifiers the stage is nearly set for another epic NMT Battle of the Continents Grand Final on Friday 16th January. With live scoring also available via the SGSC facebook page all members will have the opportunity to keep abreast of all the current standings in all of the matches, making the event all the more interactive.
