Address Montgomerie Golf Club summer renovations

The second part of their Golf Course renovation with the closure of the back 9 during summer

The Address Montgomerie Golf Club in Dubai has announced plans for the second part of their Golf Course renovation with the closure of the back 9 during summer.

After last years successful front 9 Golf course upgrade, the back 9 are now due for alterations in the summer heat here in Dubai. We at UAE Golf Online managed to get a comment from the club on the Golf Course changes:

“As you may be aware, we have been working hard on our back 9 greens renovation plans and I am pleased to confirm that these works have been approved by our ownership group and will now commence on June 6th 2010.

We expect the construction period to last approximately 18 weeks during which time the back 9 will be closed for play. We are also taking this opportunity to redesign the 13th hole to improve the existing layout.

During this construction project, the front 9 holes, which were rebuilt in 2008, will remain open for play so that you may still enjoy 18 holes by playing the nine twice.

We have negotiated preferential rates for our members at The Els Club where you may avail of member guest rates throughout the period of renovation on the production of your membership card.  In addition, our full golf members may play at Arabian Ranches Golf Club 7 days a week by paying a cart fee only during our renovation period.

We greatly appreciate your patience and support during this time and hope you are looking forward to the forthcoming golf season when the full 18 holes will once again be open.”

The Address Montgomerie Golf Club is a first class golfing complex and the upgrades will only help the actual course.
