Address Montgomerie beat Yas Links to Progress to Final of 2012 – 2013 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League

The Address Montgomerie, Dubai beat Yas Links, Abu Dhabi recently on the 1st extra hole to go through to play Emirates Golf Club in the final match of the 2012 – 2013 UAE Invitational Scratch Golf League.

The 4 matches in this 8 a side fourball scratch matchplay semi-final contest all remarkably finished on the 17th green at the neutral host venue at Arabian Ranches Golf Club with all matches finishing 2 & 1.

The Address Montgomerie Dubai took matches 1 and 3 and Yas Links took matches 2 and 4 leaving the match tied at 2 – 2.
The result then hinged on a sudden-death play-off to decide the outcome.
The nominated pairing of Chris Alderman and Charlie Simpson from The Address Montgomerie prevailed on the 1st extra hole to progress to the final where they will play Emirates Golf Club to decide the 2012 – 2013 champions of the UAE Invitational Scratch League.
