Abu Dhabi golfers ready to learn how to train the brain by Neuro-Linguistic Programming master practitioner Martin Robinson
Abu Dhabi Golf Club’s PGA Professional and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) master practitioner Martin Robinson will host a unique workshop to help revolutionise golfers who want to fast-track their game and achieve lower scores.
Martin, a qualified NLP coach with certification through the ‘Trained Brain’ institute, will be introducing some handy tools and techniques for golfers that can be used to ensure they are able to deal with some of the ‘states’ on the golf course that hinder performance and allow players to perform their best with confidence and a positive attitude.
“I’ll be covering the key aspects of the mental side of golf, from how to deal with the pressures on the course to controlling your body language and maximizing your performance through visualization and imagery,” said Martin, who has a degree in professional golf from the Birmingham University.
“Everyone has it in them to perform well, and I help people to recognise the patterns and habits that will lead players to success.”
The workshop is being run by The Golf Institute by Troon Golf, which provides the highest standard of golf instruction facilities in the Middle East.
Martin will also provide his own personal experiences as a professional golfer and coach and touch on experiences he has seen while working in the region, including time as an instructor at the Royal Golf Club in Bahrain.
“I’ve played a lot of golf as a professional and I know the pitfalls and traps people can fall into,” he added.
“I make sure the workshop is very interactive, offering tips that will stimulate thought and help people to achieve the results they want.”
