Abu Dhabi Golf Institute hosts Future Falcon Grammy Awards

The Abu Dhabi Golf Institute team hosted the “Future Falcon Grammy Awards” for all the juniors that have attended our junior program this year. Keeping in line with the Grammy theme, the children had to come in their “Sunday Best”. With Alex Hambleton looking as cool as a cucumber he became a worthy winner of the best dressed award. On arrival a great big fish bowl filled with golf tees greeted each child with a prize being awarded to the closest guess on how many tees were in the bowl. Guessing the number of tees inside proved a daunting task with guesses ranging from 110 – 1 million! Theresa Friedman was closest with a great guess of 3,200, 8 off our 3,192 tees.

Over 120 juniors proudly received their certificate of attendance during the 2011-2012 development programs. Special recognition awards were handed out to those students who had made a special mark on the program. Some of these awards included the “LOL or laugh out loud award” to the funniest Future Falcon, the Encouragement award and the Good Samaritan award. Congratulations go to Jack Crombie and Amalia Arredondo for winning the Future Falcon overall Best boy and Best Girl award.”

It was a fun “Grammy Awards” and congratulations to all the prize winners. The Abu Dhabi Golf Institute looks forward to next season, more fun and more award nights!
