Abu Dhabi Golf Club Ladies Open 2010 winner

The 2010 Ladies Open at Abu Dhabi Golf Club was contested on the 22nd of April with a good number of participants competing in ever-warming temperatures.

The single day event proved to be compelling and as if 36 holes in one day were not enough 37 holes were needed to decide the champion, as two players were deadlocked at 159 after the completion of 36 holes.

The overall champion was decided in a playoff between Sue Henderson and Sana Tufail both Abu Dhabi Golf Club members, who both finished with a total of 159.  Henderson triumphed over Tufail on the first playoff hole with a bogey 5.

In the net silver division, Abu Dhabi Golf Club member Pascale Michel (Abu Dhabi Golf Club) had an outstanding day finishing at 134 with rounds of net 66 and 68. Michel finished ahead of fellow Abu Dhabi Golf Club members’ Be Williams and Judy Kong.

The net bronze division was captured by Marianne Rudd (Abu Dhabi City Golf Club) with a great day of golf finishing at 138 ahead of April Holmes (Abu Dhabi Golf Club) and Martha Wong (Emirates Golf Club).
